Feeding San Diego (FSD), a hunger relief organization in San Diego, sought to revamp their office lobby as a part of establishing their recently updated branding. To this end, they hired me to design a 20ft wall wrap celebrating the organization’s food rescue journey.
The wall wrap is now installed in the organization’s lobby where it serves as a visual aid for tour guides communicating how FSD fights hunger; highlights the updated branding; and cultivates a vibrant, on-brand energy in the often-used space.
I designed the wall wrap from collaborative ideation with the Feeding San Diego team to final vector illustration packaged for print. This included meeting with FSD’s Senior Brand Manager to better understand the team’s vision for the mural, the organization’s updated branding, and the food rescue journey; creating two distinct visual directions for the team to choose from; refining the selected sketch and visiting the FSD office to double check measurements, ensuring the refined sketch functions well in the space; working through multiple rounds of revisions; and packaging the final approved design in accordance with the print vendor’s specifications.
