Feeding San Diego (FSD), a hunger relief non-profit in San Diego, relies on volunteers for sorting and packing produce, supporting food distributions, making personalized phone calls to thank our generous donors, and more. To show their gratitude and maintain reciprocal relationships with volunteers, FSD designs a new t-shirt each year as a gift for that year’s volunteers.
The t-shirt I designed in 2024 was gifted to that year’s FSD volunteers, strengthening relationships and increasing volunteer loyalty. The shirt is also available for purchase through the FSD website where each purchase helps to feed 42 San Diegans.
I designed and executed the t-shirt design starting with two distinct visual directions based on collaborative ideation with the Feeding San Diego team. I refined the selected sketch into a finalized vector illustration and packaged the files in accordance with the print vendor’s specifications.
