goal & impact

In 2023, the Climate Science Alliance (CSA) presented their biannual San Diego Climate Summit with a focus on uplifting and celebrating shared stories of transformational climate adaptation. The Summit aimed to bring together people from across demographics to share how we can adapt to a changing climate and transform our natural and human communities for the better.

Hosted at the San Diego Natural History Museum, the Summit brought together 217 people from nonprofit, academic, Tribal, business, and government spaces. The event spanned all five museum floors and included interactive stations hosted by partner organizations, a climate-focused art gallery, two documentary screenings, and powerful panel and keynote presentations.

my role

Under my capacity as Digital Designer for CSA, I led the design of the event program including a double-scale insert that served as a map to find the many offerings at the event; presentation slides that functioned flawlessly on the Nat’s large theater screen; directional and informational signage to guide attendees throughout the event; artwork labels for the gallery space; multiple webpages that functioned in conjunction with the program to provide in-depth event information; and a post-event summary slide deck shared widely on CSA channels.
